TROUBLESHOOTING
COMMON PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS
Review the following chart if you are experiencing a minor or common issue� This may alleviate the need to call a
serviceperson�
Problem
Difficulty closing lid
Difficulty opening lid
Steam escapes from
the bottom of the lid�

than 2 minutes�
Float valve does not

Solution
Make sure rubber gasket is behind the ring and firmly pressed
down�
Lightly press the float valve down�
Lightly press the float valve down with a long utensil like
chopsticks�
Use the quick release method and position the exhaust valve
to "Venting" and allow the pressure to escape� You will be able
to open the lid once the pressure is released�
Install the gasket�
Clean the gasket�
Replace the gasket�
Open the lid and close it properly�
Clean the float valve�
Replace the float valve�
Add additional liquid according to the recipe�
Make sure the lid is closed properly� Refer to page 14�
Turn the exhaust valve to "Sealing"�
