SETTING DATE/TIME
IT IS NECESSARY TO SET THE DATE AND TIME
FOR THE UNIT EVERY TIME BATTERIES ARE
INITIALLY INSTALLED OR REPLACED.
The date/time feature is on the lower right
of the display screen, Fig 1. This unit stores
the date and time, including year, allowing
for a date/time stamp on all readings in the
memory recall function.
1. When the unit is off (a blank display
screen), press and hold the SET button
for 2-3 seconds to activate the display.
The display will illuminate and the hour
will begin flashing.
2. HOUR—press the MEM button to
advance the display to the desired hour,
press SET to confirm your selection.
Note, the 'PM' indication will only show
on the display if the time is shown as
PM; there is no AM display icon.
3. MINUTES—press the MEM button to
advance the display to the desired
minutes, press SET to confirm your
selection.
