– G lass: breakage, glass splinters in measured medium risk of
injury
– W ear safety glasses and gloves when handling cleaning
agents
– W e recommend that the electrodes only be put into ope-
ration in conjunction with original products / accessoires
from METTLER TOLEDO. The electrodes may be operated
and serviced only by personnel familiar with the equip-
ment in question and who have read and understood these
instructions

Factors that shorten life-time
– F or Xerolyt electrodes (type Pt4805-DXK): pH < 2, organic
solvents, vacuum and high temperature
– Solutions containing HF
– F or electrodes Pt 4805-DPA / DPAS: pressure > 2.5 bar
