This compressor has been designed and manufactured to avoid any risk when operated
according to the present instructions; however the following warnings are reported to
avoid any residual danger:
- do not use the compressor for any other purposes than those it has been desi-
gned to: this device has been designed to compress air, sucked from the environment;
- keep the device in a covered place and protected from rain and humidity: this de-
vice has not been designed to be installed outdoor;
- install it out of reach of children and of unskilled people: risk of electrical shock,
injuries for moving parts and hot parts;
- never direct the flow of compressed air towards people or animals: risk of injury;
- do not compress any other fluid than air: this device has been designed to process
only atmospheric air;
- never use the compressor in an environment with explosive atmoshere: this de-
vice has not been designed to be operated in an explosive environment;
- never repair the compressor while it is powered or when its tank is under pres-
sure: risk of electrical shock and injuries caused by a quick blow of air under pressure;
- always use genuine spare parts and components suited to the performances of
this unit: wrong parts can result in a premature break and cause dangers;
- never power the compressor with a different voltage than the one indicated on
the product plate: risk of damage to the device and of dangers;
- never power the compressor when the supply cable is damaged or when the
protective conductor is missing: risk of electrical shock;
- never switch on the compressor when it looks damaged; stop operating the
compressor when it makes strange noises: risk of damage of the device, of electrical
shock, of injuries caused by maving parts or hot parts;
- never switch the device on when the protection guards are removed: risk of inju-
ries caused by moving parts;
- never touch any hot spot of the compressor: risk of injuries caused by hot parts.
The compressed air produced by this unit is not suitable to feed directly any
device having the purpose to use the air on the patient body or through any
part in physical contact with the patient body or for the human breathing.
Failure to read the user manual can result in dangers to people and objects.
The compressor has been designed and manufactured according to
2006/42/EC directive. If it is used to supply medical devices, the installation
must be carried out in compliance with the specifications established by Di-
rective 2007/47 / EC..
