Connect the unit to an AC single phase electrical power supply equipped with a ground
wiring system and having a voltage matching tha rating reported on the product data
plate.
GB
A tolerance of +/-10% is allowed on the line voltage.
Before commissioning the compressor, the user must be sure that the elec-
trical supply must be adequately protected against the electrical shock and
the overcurrent as required by the standards in force in the place of
installation.
The protection devices must be able to avoid the circuit breaking while the motor is star-
ting and its current rating can be 5-6 times greater than the standard rating indicated on
pag.53.
Check that the power cord is not damaged; in case of cable extension, use flexible ca-
ble with earth cord type H05VV or SJT (or having better features), and cross section
adequate to the compressor current rating.
Before commissioning the compressor, check that it's properly connected to the groun-
ding circuit.
Perform a firm and long-lasting connection of the compressor to the pneumatical circuit
by means of pneumatic fittings equipped with interlocking or screwing tightening
systems, properly sized to the compressor maximum pressure.
In the case of portable compressors, the connection to the compressor
must be equipped with a safety system (eg safety cable)
Avoid any air leakage from the pneumatical line connected downstream to
the compressor in order to prevent any unexpcted compressor start.
