Remove the oil filler cap/oil tank to add oil.
Using a funnel, add oil to the FULL mark on the dipstick.
DO NOT OVERFILL. Check the engine oil level daily and refill as needed.
Pour gasoline into the engine
Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive. Handling fuel can cause burns or serious injury. Be especially
careful when handling gasoline!
Fill the fuel tank outdoors, never indoors. Gasoline vapors can ignite if they collect inside the housing. There
may be an explosion.
The engine must be turned off and allowed to cool for at least three minutes before adding fuel. Unscrew the
fuel filler cap and fill the tank.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT OVERFILL!
This unit and/or its engine may contain vapor emission control system components that will function properly
only if the fuel tank is filled to the recommended level. Overfilling can cause permanent damage to the
components of the vapor emission control system. Filling to the recommended level provides the vapor gap
required to allow the fuel to expand. When filling the fuel tank, take special care not to exceed the
recommended fuel level in the tank. When filling the tank, use a portable gasoline container with a dispenser
of the appropriate size. Do not use a funnel or other device that obstructs the view of the tank-filling process.
After refueling, replace the fuel filler cap and tighten it. Always clean up spilled fuel.
3.3.1. Cutting height adjustment
The cutting height can be set in five different positions from 38 mm to 90 mm. Higher positions are useful
when trimming tall grass or in conditions where there are often objects on the ground (stones, small
branches). Lower positions provide a more finished look. The recommended cutting height for an average
yard is 51 mm.
To adjust the trimming height, press the trimmer head height adjustment plate in the direction of the axis
while holding it and moving the trimmer head up or down to the desired position. If the head does not detach,
turn the head slightly while pressing the height adjustment plate.
