ABS BUTTON - For switch of absolute measurement and incremental measurement
A digital caliper is not in setting mode when it's switched on. Press ABS key shortly in this mode to
set value to one preset value which has been set (if preset value is invalid, one should set preset
value to be 0), meanwhile, one should turn measuring mode to absolute mode and LCD displays
ABS as prompt sign. Keep pressing ABS key in this mode to enter preset mode. LCD displays SET
as prompt sign and select current bit to be at highest bit. The current digit which corresponds to the
changed bit flashes.
It'll set current changed bit to the right by one bit by pressing ABS key shortly in setting mode. If
it's over the lowest bit, it goes back to the highest bit; it'll take current changed value by keeping
pressing ABS key at this mode. Then it gets out of setting mode and enters absolute measurement
automatically (and cancel all special functions). LCD displays ABS as prompt sign and displays
preset value which has been set.
