No supply of power
Brushes worn or sticking
ON/OFF Switch (10) is faulty
Motor components faulty or short circuited
Blunt or damaged cutter/Router Bit
Speed Dial (11) set low
Motor is overloaded
Incorrectly fitted or loose Router Bit
Bent or damaged Router Bit
Brushes not moving freely
Damaged or worn motor
Plunge Lock Lever (24) engaged
Reached end of adjustment range

Solution
Ensure the Depth Stop/trimmer height
corresponds to the maximum amount of
cut permitted by the Depth Turret (31) /
Trimmer Depth Micro Adjustment Dial (46)
Tighten Router Bit/Collet/Collet Nut and
cutter assembly
Check that power is available at source
Disconnect power, open Brush Access
Covers (12) and ensure brushes are not
damaged or heavily worn. If worn, replace
brushes (see 'Brushes' or have the tool
serviced by an authorised Triton service
centre)
Have the tool serviced by an authorised

Re-sharpen or replace cutter/Router Bit
Increase variable speed setting
