2) Saddle and handlebar adjustment
It is important to adapt the settings of your bike to your form.
Adjusting the saddle height
To check the correct height of the saddle, you
must sit with stretched legs, the heel resting
on the pedal (fig. A). When pedalling, the knee
will be slightly bent (fig. B).
The saddle must not go beyond the
mark on the seat post: Minimum insertion.
If your saddle has damping springs,
these must be protected in case of the installation of a
baby carrier to avoid the risk of pinching fingers.
Quick release
Your bike is equipped with a quick release to lock the seat post to the frame.
For effective support, adjust the adjusting nut and activate the lock lever by
hand.
Handlebar
To assemble the handlebar on the post, tighten the 4 post
Screws between 5Nm and 7Nm.
Make sure the handlebar is centred on the post using
the marking on the handlebar.
Stem
To disassemble the stem, completely unscrew the upper screw and loosen
the post screws, then remove the post. When reassembling, tighten the
upper screw to adjust the slack in the steering and then tighten the post
screws, taking care to align the post and the front wheel.
We advise you to have these operations carried out by a qualified technician.
