1. Pull the height adjustment lever(9) rearward to increase

INSTALL THE BATTERY PACK

If the battery pack or charger is damaged, replace the
battery pack or the charger.
•
Stop the machine and wait until the engine stops before
you install or remove the battery pack.
•
Read, know, and follow the instructions in the battery
and charger manual.
1. Open the battery door (10).
2. Align the lift ribs on the battery pack with the grooves in
the battery compartment.
3. Push the battery pack into the battery compartment until
the battery pack locks into place.
4. When you hear a click, the battery pack is installed.
5. Close the battery door(10).
The motor starts only when you put in the safety key (14).

REMOVE THE BATTERY PACK
1. Remove the safety key (14).
2. Open the battery door.
3. Push and hold the battery release button (15).
4. Remove the battery pack from the machine.

REMOVE THE MULCH PLUG
The mower comes with the mulch plug installed properly.
To remove the mulch plug, please follow the instructions
below:
1. Open the rear discharge door (7).
2. Grasp both sides of mulch's handle (8-1),pull it out with
some force.
3. The mulch plug (8) must be re-installed back into the
discharge chamer when the grass catcher is removed.

START THE MACHINE

1. Put in the safety key.
2. Push and hold the start button(13).
3. While you hold the start button, pull the bail switch(14)
in the direction of the handle bar.
