Switching on/heating
• Connect the machine to the mains by inserting the plug into
the power socket.
• Pressing the main switch (10) at the rear switches the machine
on.
• Press the desired symbol (17-18) to switch the desired machine
section. The icons will flash intermittently until the correct
temperature has been reached. When the symbols (2-3-12-
13) come on steady, the machine is ready for use. (Fig. 5)
• Every time the machine is switched on, after it reaches the
operating temperature the pump activates for 3 second in
order to eliminate any cold water from the internal circuits.
• While heating (symbols (2-3-12-13) flashing), the machine
cannot dispense drinks.
Energy saving function
The machine is equipped with a system that switches it OFF
when not being used for a certain period of time.
If the machine remains switched on without being used, it switches
off automatically after about 30 minutes.
To use the machine again, press a symbol (2-3) and wait for
the machine to warm up: the delivery symbols (2- 3-12-13) will
flash intermittently until the correct temperature is reached; when
the symbols (2- 3- 12- 13) come on steady, the machine is
ready for use. (Fig. 5)
Switching off the machine
The machine can be switched off by pressing the main switch
(10) at the rear.
WARNING:
To save energy, the machine automatically switches
off when not in use for more than 30 minutes.
Rinsing the machine/internal circuits
When using the machine for the first time, or if it has not been used for a long period of time, the
internal circuits must be rinsed according to the following procedure:
• Check that there are no capsules inside the machine and that there is water in the tanks (8).
Switch on the machine by pressing symbol (17-18) (Fig. 5)
• Symbols (2-3-12-13) will flash intermittently until the correct temperature has been reached; when
the symbols (2-3-12-13) come on steady, the machine is ready for use.
Close the small cup holder (19), place a cup on the grid and press the delivery symbol (2-3).
The machine delivers water (Fig. 6). Press the symbol again when the desired amount of water
has been delivered. Rinsing is complete when at least three cups of water have been delivered.
