9. How to use the LED light
[Normal Use]
The LED light will light the area at the tip of the tool
when the switch is drawn.
The LED light will automatically power off 10 seconds
after the switch is released.
[Using just the LED light (Lantern Mode)]
Pressing the lighting switch on the switch panel will
turn the LED light ON/OFF without having to pull the
switch.
To prevent battery consumption, turn the LED light
OFF as much as possible.

NOTE
○ To prevent battery consumption when the LED light
is left on, the light will automatically power off if the
switch is untouched for approximately one hour.
○ When the switch is pulled, the LED light will switch
over to [Normal Use] mode.

11. About remaining battery indicator
You can check the battery's remaining capacity by
pressing the remaining battery indicator switch to
light the indicator lamp. (Fig. 38, Table 7)
The indicator will shut off approximately 3 seconds
after the remaining battery indicator switch is
pressed.
It is best to use the remaining battery indicator as
a guide since there are slight diff erences such as
ambient temperature and the condition of the battery.
Also, the remaining battery indicator may vary from
those equipped to a tool or charger.

CAUTION
● Do not expose directly your eye to the light by
looking into the light.
If your eye is continuously exposed to the light,
your eye will be hurt.
● Wipe off any dirt or grime attached to the lens of
the LED light with a soft cloth, being careful not
to scratch the lens.
Scratches on the lens of the LED light can result
in decreased brightness.
10. LED light warning signals (Fig. 37)
This product features functions that are designed
to protect the tool itself as well as the battery. While
the switch is pulled, if any of the safeguard functions
activate during operation, the LED light will blink as
described in Table 6. When any of the safeguard
functions are triggered, immediately remove your
fi nger from the switch and follow the instructions
described under corrective action.
