1. Set the rotary switch to the ‐ Position.
2. Attach the pin‐plug of the black test lead to the COM‐jack and the pin‐plug of
the red test lead to the V‐, A‐, Ω‐jack.
3. Connect the test prods of the leads to the resistance or circuit to be tested. To
avoid influence disconnect the resistant to be tested from the circuit.
4. Once the reading stabilizes, read the value. If the polarity is twisted a "Minus
sign" is displayed. Use the HOLD function if the reading is difficult to read.
5. If the resistance is less than about 30Ω, you hear an audible signal. If the
circuit is open, the display shows "OL" or "1".
Frequency measurement
1. Set the rotary switch to the V
2. To display the frequency on the main display, press MODE until Hz is
indicated.
3. Attach the pin‐plug of the black test lead to the COM‐jack and the pin‐plug of
the red test lead to the V‐, A‐, Ω‐jack.
4. Once the reading stabilizes, read the value. If the polarity is twisted a "Minus
sign" is displayed. Use the HOLD function if the reading is difficult to read.
Diode testing
Touch the diode to be tested with the probes. The forward voltage shows 400 to
700mV. The counter voltage shows „OL" or "1". Defective devices show a value
about 0 mV or „OL" or "1" in both polarities.
Capacity measurement
Use the provided test leads to perform these measurements.
1.
Set the rotary switch to the CAP ‐ Position.
2.
Attach the pin‐plug of the black test lead to the COM‐jack and the pin‐plug of
the red test lead to the V‐, A‐, Ω‐jack.
3.
Connect the black test prod to the negative pole and the red test prod to the
positive pole of the circuit to be tested.Once the reading stabilizes, read the
Hz ‐ Position
