DISTANCE GAUGE
When the gauge is not used, there is a risk of
a welding seam rupture on the injector!
The thickness of the distance gauge is 8.5
mm. If it falls short of this, the
distance gauge must be replaced.
Remove the distance gauge (5).
Repeat this work steps on all injectors.
Check the loose fit of the injectors (1) on the
rail.
Align the connector position of the injectors
roughly parallel to the rail; the injectors must
move freely!
Place rail with injectors from above onto the
cylinder head.
Connect and lock connectors.
Tighten rail according to manufacturer's
specifications.
