Selecting preset stations

0 When in preset mode, turn the main unit MULTI JOG dial or
use the remote control k and j buttons to select a preset
station.
0 You can also use the main unit or remote control number
buttons to directly enter a preset number, and press the EN-
TER button to select that station.

Clearing preset assignments

1.
Select the current source for the presets to be cleared (AM or
FM). (see "Selecting the playback source" on page 22)
2.
Press and hold the main unit or remote control CLEAR but-
ton.
The following message will appear on the Home Screen.
FM Clear all
Presets OK?
Before clearing FM station presets
AM Clear all
Presets OK?
Before clearing AM station presets
3.
Press the main unit MULTI JOG dial or remote control EN-
TER button.
After all preset assignments for the current source have
been cleared, the Home Screen reopens.
NOTE
Press the main unit or remote control CLEAR button to cancel
the operation and return to the Home Screen.

Setting the tuner broadcast outputs

You can set whether tuner broadcast signals are output from the
TUNER OUT jacks only or from all the main unit jacks (TUNER
OUT, ANALOG OUT and PHONES jacks).
1.
Select the Tuner Out Sel. item on the Menu screen to open
the Tuner Out Sel. screen. (see "Menu operation proce-
dures" on page 18)

Set the outputs for sounds from the tuner.
Option
Meaning
Tuner broadcasts sounds are output
TUNER OUT
only from the TUNER OUT jacks.
Tuner broadcast signals are output
from all the main unit jacks (TUNER
ALL (default)
OUT, ANALOG OUT and PHONES
jacks).
3.
Confirm the setting and return to the Menu screen.
NOTE
The tuner audio output setting is retained even when the
Sel.
unit is turned off.
