6. STARTING
6.1 Filling – degassing
CAUTION ! Never operate the circulator without water.
- Open the valves on each side of the circulator and completely fill
the installation.
- Purge the circuit at the highest point.
- The circulator purges automatically.
6.2 Adjustments
Check of rotation direction (three-phase motor)
Performed using the green led situated at the rear of the
connection box.
The LED ignites if the direction of rotation is correct (See FIG. 3).
In the event of inversion, interchange the two wires on the motor
terminals.
8. OPERATING TROUBLE
Before any servicing, DISCONNECT POWER from the pump.
PROBLEM
8.1 THE PUMP DOES a) Fuses faulty:

8.2 MOTOR STOPS
a) Fuse rating incorrect:
DURING NORMAL
b) The thermal relay has been activated:

been triggered (terminals 10-15 for
models with flanges):
8.3 THE PUMP IS NOISY
a) The pump is cavitating due to lack of
pressure at inlet:

c) Incorrect speed selection:
d) Problem in the installation:
CAUSE
a) Check fuses.
b) Check power supply voltage.
c) - If the motor is set to an intermediate or low speed, change the selector
to a high speed setting.
- If the motor still does not start on the high speed setting, remove the
motor from the pump body and free the motor by turning manually.
a) Check fuses (rating).
b) - Check setting with respect to rating plate.
- Check current drawn on each phase.
c) See 8.1.
d) - Check water temperature.
- Check electricity supply.
Note: The sensor resets itself once the motor has cooled down.
a) Increase circuit pressure.
b) Check that rotation direction is correct.
c) Check the operating point and speed selection. If necessary, adjust
speed selection.
d) Check purge of installation.
- Apply power to the motor to start circulator operation.
Burns hazard. During operation, the motor temperature can
exceed 100°C.
7. MAINTENANCE
The circulator requires no particular maintenance during operation.
The motor bearings are self-lubricated.
In the event of the installation being partially or completely emptied
for a prolonged shutdown, completely empty the circulator to avoid
any seizing up.
In the event the motor is disassembled/re-

assembled, make sure that the casing O-ring is
not damaged and, if necessary, replace it with a new one.
