Installation and maintenance instructions
6.3
Repair
> Before carrying out repair work, temporarily decommis-
sion the entire photovoltaic installation (¬ page 3).
> Replace any defective components.
> Do not carry out any repairs in the connection box.
> Start up the photovoltaic installation again (¬ page 5).
7
Inspection and maintenance
> Follow the inspection and maintenance plan in the
appendix.
> Temporarily decommission the photovoltaic installation
> (¬ page 3).
7.1
Checking the insulation and stability of the
cabling
> Check the cabling, insulation and plug connections for
cleanliness, integrity and stability.
> Document and eliminate all faults.
7.2
Checking the end and middle clamps
> Check all of the end and middle clamps on the photovol-
taic modules to ensure that they are correctly connected
to the mounting frame and the PV module frame.
7.3
Checking the protective earthing
> Check the cabling of the protective earthing for cleanli-
ness, integrity and stability.
7.4
Completing inspection and maintenance
work
> Document the inspection work that was carried out in an
inspection report.
> Point out to the end user that they must always keep the
inspection report safe.
> Start up the photovoltaic installation again (¬ page 5).
8
Decommissioning
8.1
Permanently decommissioning the
photovoltaic installation
> Observe the instructions for the inverter.
> Cover the photovoltaic modules with an opaque plastic
film or a fleece in order to minimise the generation of
direct current.
8.2
Removing the photovoltaic module
> Decommission the photovoltaic installation.
> Remove the photovoltaic modules and observe the infor-
mation on the electrical installation and set-up.

This module is rated as application class A in accordance
with IEC 61730. The electrical performance data can be
found in the data sheet or on the data plate.
10 Inspection and maintenance work
The table below lists the manufacturer requirements with
respect to minimum inspection and maintenance intervals. If
national regulations and directives require shorter inspec-
tion and maintenance intervals, you should observe these
instead of the intervals listed.
