• Before opening the package, check that there was no damage incurred during transport.
• If the package is damaged and damage to the contents is probable, immediately notify the insurance carrier, and leave
the package as is.

OPENING THE PACKAGE
Packaging may be of two types, on a pallet or in a crate (Fig.2).
The protective package in wood can be opened by using suitable tools for this purpose. It is recommended to cover exposed
body parts and hands with protective gloves, since the wood packaging may splinter.
• Remove the nails starting from the upper part of the package until the machine still fixed to the pallet (packaging base)
is exposed.
• Remove the protective tarp wrapped around the machine.
• Visually check that the machine has not been subject to any damage during transport.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION
Lifting the package must be executed by inserting
the forks of the forklift into the space between
the basic supports of the palette, distributing the
weight of the package in a way that maintains the
centre of balance of the package in perfect equilib-
rium (Figure 1). Do not overturn the appliance.
PROHIBITED LIFTING EQUIPMENT
Lifting equipment or systems that do not respond
to required safety regulations must not be used,
including:
• those with lifting capacity inferior to the weight
of the machine
• those with unsuitable manufacturer characteristics
(for example, short fork prongs);
• manufacture characteristics altered by use
• nonconforming cables or ropes
• worn cables or ropes
