Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance operations, disconnect the appliance from the mains supply.
PERIODIC CLEANING
To clean the stainless steel use a cloth soaked in lukewarm soapy water, then rinse thoroughly and dry carefully. Never use
abrasive or corrosive substances, nor chips, steel wool, brushes or common steel scrapers.
To clean the glass-ceramic plate use a damp cloth and washing-up liquid, cleaning not long after you have finished the
distribution period (when the hob is still warm) and food residuals have not had time to dry; do not use abrasive or corrosive
detergents or steel brushes or scrapers which would damage it irreparably.
Fro cleaning the control areas and the glass use a cloth slightly dampened with specific non-aggressive, non-abrasive
detergents and dry carefully.
To facilitate cleaning of the glass, you can remove the sliding doors on the operator side as shown below:
1) Slide the doors towards the centre (fig.9).
2) Move the doors up so that they exit the lower guides (fig.10).
3) Turn the lower part towards the operator.
4) Extract the doors by moving them downwards.

Caution: Do not wash the appliance with direct or high-pressure water jets.
PERIODS OF INACTIVITY
During long periods when the appliance is not in use, take the following precautions:
- unplug the appliance;
- remove all food in the appliance and clean the interior and any accessories,
- ensure that air can circulate inside in order to prevent the build up of unpleasant odours;
- periodically ventilate the rooms.
- have the appliance thoroughly inspected (at least once a year). For this purpose, it is advisable to stipulate a service con-
tract.
