FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
CAUTION:
•
Always be sure that the tool is switched off and
unplugged before adjusting or checking function
on the tool.
Adjusting depth of cut

To adjust the shoe, turn the thumb screw to loosen.
Slide the shoe to the desired position and tighten the
thumb screw securely. Check for the proper clearance
beneath the workpiece before cutting so that the bit will
not strike a hard surface such as the floor, workbench,
etc.

CAUTION:
•
Before plugging in the tool, always check to
see that the switch lever actuates properly and
returns to the ''OFF'' position.
•
Switch can be locked in "ON" position for ease
of operator comfort during extended use. Apply
caution when locking tool in "ON" position and
maintain firm grasp on tool.
To start the tool, move the switch lever to the ''ON''
position.
To stop the tool, move the switch lever to the ''OFF''
position.
This can be done in the forward area of the switch lever
or by bumping off the rear area of the switch lever.
