Standard Drainage
There is a removable water tank with volume of 13.6 litres inside the dehumidifier and used to accumulate condensate. There is also a
water-full indicating lamp on the right side cover of the dehumidifier. In case of the lamp lighting, the dehumidifier will stop working and
that means the tank can not accumulate water anymore. You should open the front door panel of the machine, draw out the tank and
pour out the water, then restore to the original position.
Drainage with Water Pump (Optional)
• Remove the front door panel of the dehumidifier, then draw out the water tank.
• Unplug the water-full alarm signal(
) wire from the middle socket and plug to the
2
right socket to fix it.
• Connect the power cable(

• Plug the water-full signal wire(

Permanent Drainage
If there is a ditch or pipe on the ground can drain water out of the room naturally and
closed to the dehumidifier, you can choose permanent drainage by connecting water
reservoir tray inside the machine and the ditch or pipe on the ground with a drain
hose passing through the hole on the right side cover of the unit.

Switch On/Off
Ensure completing the electrical connection, press the red button of power
switch on the right side cover of the dehumidifier, the machine will start to work.
Press the button again, the dehumidifier will stop working
Note: Before switch on the machine please make sure that the plug is plugged
to the socket of power source.
The compressor of the dehumidifier will start immediately for the first use,
but there will be 3 minutes delay for every restart of the machine. .
Hourmeter
The mobile MDR dehumidifier is fitted with a run hour meter which is installed
on the unit right side. It indicates the number of hours the appliance has
functioned.

Intelligent Defrosting
3
If the ambient temperature of the room in which the dehumidifier
runs falls below 20ºC, probably ice will form on the evaporator
2
coil. The building up of ice on the evaporator coil will affect the
efficiency of the dehumidifier i.e. its ability to remove moisture
from the air.
For this reason, the MDR dehumidifier has been fitted with an
intelligent defrosting system. This system is programmed to
operate only when there is an ice layer on the evaporator, based
on an intelligent judgment. (The building up ice is melted, then
collected and drained away together with the condensate.)
Note: Compressor works but ventilator does not work during the
FIG.3
defrosting.
External Hygrostat (Optional)
For some application for which stable humidity level is necessary,
an external hygrostat need to be used. It's quite easy to install
the hygrostat kit just by plugging the kit to the socket on the
right side of the dehumidifier.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The Dehumidifier Does Not Start
Possible Cause:
1.Unplugged or power failure.
2.The water tank is full.
3.3 minutes delay start.
Remedy:
1.Check and ensure the machine is plugged and the power
supply is normal.
2.Check if the water tank is full and water-full indicating
lamp on the right side cover of the dehumidifier is lighting.
If so, draw out the tank and pour out the water, then restore
to the original position.
3.Just wait for 3 minutes after switch on and then check if
it starts normally.
Insufficient or No Water Extracted
Possible Cause:
4
1.Air inlet or outlet is blocked.
2
2.Air filter is choked by dirt.
3
3.Evaporator or condenser is chocked by dirt.
5
4.Ventilator or the capacitor malfunction.
5.The machine can not defrost normally even the
evaporator is fully covered by ice.
6.Refrigerant gas loss.
Remedy:
1.Purge the air inlet and outlet.
2.Take out the filter and wash it carefully with water.
3.Clean the evaporator and condenser with blower or
compressed air.
4.Contact the professional service technician.
5.Contact the professional service technician.
6.Contact the professional service technician.
Abnormal Vibration or Noise
Possible Cause:
1.Loose component touches the rotating fan vanes, fan
motor, compressor or copper pipe.
2.Fan, fan motor or compressor is loose.
Remedy:
1.Redress and fix the loose component.
2.Fix the fan, fan motor or compressor.
Water flooding inside the machine
Possible Cause:
1.Drain hose slips off from the adapter.
2.Drain hose blocked or frozen.
3.Water level float of water tank is stuck.
4.Connection of water-full signal wire is loose.
5.Magnet reed switch or PCB malfunction.
Remedy:
1.Re-join the drain hose and tighten the joint.
2.Dredge the drain hose.
3.Release the water level float.
4.Re-plug the water-full signal wire reliably.
5.Contact the professional service technician.
