1. Dry Fit the Overflow Ell

Press the four tabs on the gasket over the overflow ell.
Align the overflow ell with bath outlet.
Position the tapered side of the grid flush against the bath outlet.
Handtighten the retainer onto the cylinder. Do not wrench-tighten at this time!
Verify that the overflow ell is in a vertical position. Adjust the overflow ell so the overflow ell is vertical.
Slotted Overflow Ell
Press the gasket onto the overflow ell.
Align the overflow ell with bath outlet.
Secure the overflow ell to the bath with the mounting plate and the three screws.
Verify that the overflow ell is in a vertical position. Adjust the overflow ell so the overflow ell is vertical.
