3.1 fUNCtION Of thE CONtROLS
As indicated by the printed legends, the four operating buttons on the Power Peak® B7
EQ-BID have multiple functions: they trigger different actions according to the charger's
current operating status.
MODE BUttON
• The 'MODE' button can be used beforehand to select the appropriate process (CHARGE,
DISCHARGE, DISCHARGE -> CHARGE, STORE or DC>CH CYCx3 (cycle)).
"+" / "-" BUttON
• In Set-up mode the "+" button is used to increase the charge parameter by one increment,
or to move upward by one line. In the "VIEW" menu this button moves up by one line.
• In Set-up mode the "-" button is used to decrease the charge parameter by one incre-
ment, or to move downward by one line. In the "VIEW" menu this button moves down
by one line.
EDIt / ENtER BUttON
• This button can be used when a process is running, e.g. to alter the charge current
during CHARGE: press the "EDIT / ENTER" button and change the value using "+" or
"-".
• The EDIT / ENTER button confirms a selection, e.g. activation or deactivation of a selec-
ted menu.
