• Damaged brushes must not be used.
• Rust discolouration or other signs of
chemical or mechanical change on the
equipment material can cause prema-
ture failure of the brush.
• Brushes must be stored in suitable
racks, containers or boxes so that they
are protected against the following in-
fl uences:
- High levels of humidity, heat, water
or other liquids, which could cause
damage to the brush
- Acids or vapours of acids that could
cause damage
- Temperatures that are so low that
they could lead to condensation on
the brushes if they are stored in an
area with higher temperatures
- Deformation of any brush compo-
nent
• Do not use any accessories that
are not recommended by PARK-
SIDE. This can result in electric shock

Residual risks
Even if properly operating and
handling this electric tool, some
residual risks will remain. Due to its
construction and build, this electric

Assembly instructions
Mounting the additional
handle
1. Insert the additional handle (10) into
the holder beneath the handle (1).
2. Screw the additional handle (10) tightly
using the grip screw (4).
There are several possible latching
positions.
Assembling the motor head
1. Place the telescopic arm (6) onto the
motor head (8).
The telescopic handle can only be
attached to the motor head in one
position. Ensure that the groove fi ts into
the notch in the telescopic handle.
2. Tighten the screw sleeve (15) by hand
onto the threaded element of the motor
head (8).
