Dryer By-pass:
The by-pass is positioned in the rear side of the dryer and is necessary in case of dryer malfunction or obstruction. To by-pass the
dryer, turning the clamp in pos. 1 (fig. 13) to let in the air directly from the compressor tank.
IMPORTANT: before doing anything check or repair be sure if the compressor is turned off and the internal pneumatic
circuit is de-pressurised. The by-pass don't exclude the air from the dryer!
Dismantling
In case of necessity, dismantle the machine and the relevant packaging in compliance with the rules locally in force.
Pay particular attention to the refrigerant, as it contains part of the refrigerating compressor lubricating oil.
Always contact a waste disposal and recycling facility.
Check if the compressed air inlet/outlet is connected properly.
The compressor doesn't start; see specific section.
The fan doesn't turn; see specific section.
The flow rate and/or temperature of the air entering the dryer are higher than the nominal values;
restore the nominal conditions.
The ambient temperature is higher than the nominal values; restore the nominal conditions.
The condenser is dirty; clean it.
Condensate drain absent (no water nor air); see specific section.
Check if the temperature control probe in the evaporator is positioned improperly or faulty.
Gas leakage in the refrigerating circuit: stop dryer and call a refrigeration engineer.
Check cabling.
Check if the compressed air inlet/outlet is connected properly.
The temperature on the control panel display is lower than the nominal value; call a refrigeration
engineer.
Check if the temperature control probe in the evaporator is positioned improperly or faulty.
Check if the connecting tubing are clogged; eventually proceed accordingly.
Check if by-pass (if present) is installed properly.
