ON BOARD BATTERY CHARGER (FIG.13) "OPTIONAL"

Caution!
Read carefully the instructions handbook supplied with the bat-
tery charger.
The electrical system operates at 24 V and is powered by two (12V) bat-
teries ( 24 V - Max. 110 Ah).
Never continue operating the machine until the batteries run comple-
tely fl at. Three leds 1 on the battery charger 2 show the status of the
charge of the batteries and the display 3 shows the informations during
the charging.
Red Led = batteries discharged.
Yellow Led = batteries semi-charged.
Green Led = batteries charged.
Connect the plug 4 on the battery charger 2 to the 220V feeling plug
5 .If the red led lights on, shows the batteries are discharged, therefore
recharge the batteries.

Recharging the Lead-Acid or Gel batteries.

The battery charger is predisposed to charge the Lead-Acid or Gel
batteries. The settings for the type of battery must be done using the
switches (dipswitch) 6 placed on the battery charger (see picture) and
consult the table "battery charger - CBHF1-SM 24V 12A dip switch confi
guration".

Caution!
The battery operated machines with/without drive-system are
predisposed for LEAD-ACID batteries.
To install GEL batteries, proceed as follows:
(battery operated machines without drive-system)
Replace warning indicator light 2 (fi g.2) with a new one predi-
sposed for GEL batteries and set dipswitches 6 on the battery
charger.
(battery operated machines with drive-system)
Pre-confi gure the machine for GEL batteries, changing the 1st
parameter relative to the battery type on the display as descri-
bed in "PARAMETER CONFIGURATION" and proceed with setting
dipswitches 6 placed on the battery charger.
