■ Battery installation
Fitting or replacing the remote control battery
Use 2 "AAA" size batteries (UM/SUM-4, R3, HP-16 or similar).
1. Remove the batteries compartment cover on the back
of the remote control.
2. Load two AAA/1.5V batteries into the battery
compartment making sure that the battery have been
inserted with the correct polarities matching the symbols
+, - as indicated inside the battery compartment.
3. Replace the battery cover and clip it in place.
Caution:
●
Replace all old batteries with new ones at the same
time.
●
Remove the batteries if the unit will not be used for a
long period of time. This will prevent potential damage
due to battery leakage.
●
Do not use rechargeable batteries (nickel-cadmium
battery, etc.).
●
Batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not
be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire
or the like.
●
Risk of fire explosion if the battery is replaced by an
incorrect type.
Notes concerning use:
●
Exposing the sensor on the unit and remote control to
strong light may interfere with operation. Change the
lighting or the direction of the unit if this occurs.
●
Keep the remote control away from moisture, heat
shock, and vibrations.
■ Remote control operation
● Point the remote control at the remote sensor on the
front panel.
● The remote control works within a distance of about 26
ft. (8 m) from the sensor and within an angle of about
30 degrees from the left and right side.
