TOOL USE AND CARE
Do not force the power tool. Use the correct
tool for the application. The correct tool will do
the job better and more safely at the rate that it
was designed to work at.
Do not use tools if switch does not turn it on or
off. Any tool that cannot be controlled with the
switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
Disconnect the plug from the power source be-
fore making any adjustments, changing acces-
sories or storing the tool. This preventive safety
measures reduce the risk of accidental starting
of the tool.
When the power tool is not in use, store it out
of the reach of children, and do not allow in-
dividuals who are not familiar with the power
tool or these instructions to operate it. Power
tools are dangerous in the hands on untrained
users.
Maintain the power tool. Check for misalign-
ment or binding of moving parts, broken parts,
and any other condition that may affect the
operation of the power tool. If it is damaged,
have it repaired before using. Many accidents
are caused by poorly maintained power tools.

easier to control.

able, such a thermal and differential switch
when you are using an electric equipment.
SERVICE
Tool service must be performed only by quali-
fied repair personnel. Service or maintenance
performed by unqualified personnel could re-
sult in a risk of injury.

SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES FOR
PENDULUM JIG SAW
• When fitting and changing saw blades,
always follow this manual instructions.
• Use clamps or a vice to hold your work if pos-
sible.
• Make sure the switch is off before you plug in.
• Do not overreach, be sure of your footing and
balance at all times specially in ladders and stag-
ing.
• Only use blades in perfect condition.
• Keep the shoe flat on the work piece.
• Do not put under pressure on the saw, such
that in it slows down.
• Always switch off before you put the jig saw
down.
• Disconnect the saw when not using it, before
cleaning and when changing saw blades.
• The unit should only be used as a hand held
tool and must never be foxed on an inverted
position for use as a saw bench unless with an
approved accessory.
