FINAL INSTALLATION
1.
Locate two canopy mounting screws (N) on underside of
mounting bracket (B) and remove canopy mounting screw
(N) closest to the open end of the mounting bracket (B).
Partially loosen the other canopy mounting screw (N). Lift
canopy (C) to mounting bracket (B). Place rounded part
of slotted hole in canopy (C) over loosened canopy
mounting screw (N) and push up. Twist canopy (C) to
lock. Re-insert canopy mounting screw (N) that was
removed, then tighten both canopy mounting screws (N).
Locate knobs on center ring of canopy cover (U). Slide
canopy cover (U) up to canopy (C), aligning knobs on
canopy cover (U) with openings in bottom of canopy (C).
Press up firmly on the canopy cover (U) until it fits into the
bottom of the canopy (C) and then turn canopy cover (U)
about ½ in.

DANGER: To reduce the risk of serious bodily injury,
DO NOT use power tools to assemble the blades (I). If
blade screws (AA) are overtightened, blades (I) may crack
and break.
Note label on blade (I) and upper blade arm (V) indicating
THIS SIDE UP. Place lower blade arm (R) on underside of
blade (I) and align posts with holes in blade (I); place
upper blade arm (V) on top side of blade (I). Then align
holes in upper blade arm (V) with holes on top of blade (I)
and push up on lower blade arm (R) until posts go
through the holes in blade (I). Partially insert three blade
screws/lock washers (AA) into holes in upper blade arms
(V) to attach blade arms (R and V) to blade (I). Tighten
each blade screw/lock washer (AA) starting with the one
in the middle.
Repeat Step 2 for remaining blades (I) and blade arms (R
and V).

Attach blade arms (R and V) to the bottom of motor
housing (E) with motor screws/lock washers (S)
previously removed (Step 5, page 8). Tighten motor
screws/lock washers (S) securely.
IMPORTANT: Assistance from another person is
recommended for this step due to the length of the
blades (I).
CAUTION: Make sure to completely secure both the
lower blade arm (R) and the upper blade arm (V) to the
blade (I) before attaching the next blade (I).
