and replacement.
▶ To realign the blades, simply match the top and bottom teeth of
the blades up, point by point. (The end of the blade teeth should be
approximately 1.2mm from the bottom of the blade. Compare the
EN

blade blades with the drawing.)
▶ If the blade alignment is incorrect, add a few drops of oil to the
blades, turn on the appliance for a few moments, turn off and

unplug. Slightly loosen the screws and adjust. Tighten the screws
after correct alignment of the blade.
OIL
▶ To keep your hair clipper in perfect condition, the blades should be
greased every few haircuts.
▶ Do not use hair oil, grease, chemicals or abrasives. Any product not
specific to the device can damage it and even spoil it.
BLADE LEVER
▶ The lever is located near the thumb (if it is right-handed) so that
it can be easily adjusted while the hair clipper is in your hand.
▶ The lever adds versatility to your hair clipper by allowing you to
gradually change the closeness of your cut without an accessory
comb.
▶ When the lever is in the highest position, the blades will give
you the closest cut and short hair. Pushing the lever down
gradually increases the cutting length.
▶ In its lowest position, the lever will leave the hair approximately
the same length as a # 1comb.
▶ The lever will also expand the use of the blades, since a
different cutting edge is used in each adjustment.
▶ Also, if the extremely heavy haircut has jammed the blades,
it will help remove the hair that has wedged between the two
blades without removing the blades.
▶ While the trimmer is running, quickly move the lever shape from
"close cut" to "longer cut" a couple of times. Doing this every
time you have finished using your hair clipper will help keep the
blades clear of cut hair. If our machine stops cutting and this
doesn't help, you should replace your blades.
