3 Use a screwdriver to loosen the carburetor drain screw.
4 Open the fuel valve for allow the fuel of carburetor and fuel tank go out totally.
5 Once tank and carburetor are drain install the draining screw.
6 Remove the spark plug (chapter 9.3) and pour a teaspoon of clean motor oil (5 ~
10 ml) in the cylinder. Pull the startup handle gently, this will make the engine spin
and distribute the oil. Then install the spark plug again.
7 Pull the starter rope slowly until you feel resistance. In this point, the piston is rising
in its compression stroke and the intake and exhaust valves are closed. This position
helps protecting the engine against internal corrosion in long inactivity periods.
