SAFETY THERMAL PROTECTOR:
The appliance has a safety device, which
protects the appliance from overheating.
If the appliance turns itself off and does not
switch itself on again, disconnect it from the
mains supply, and wait for approximately 15
minutes before reconnecting. If the machine
does not start again seek authorised technical
assistance.
DECALCIFICATION
If the appliance starts to produce steam more
slowly, or stops producing steam and then
starts again, you may need to descale it.
Descaling refers to removing calcium deposits
that form over time on the metal parts of the
steamer. To get the best performance from the
garment steamer, descale the unit from time to
time. The interval between descaling depends
on the hardness of the water used and the
frequency of use of the product.
Method:
1.To descale, use a solution of 1/3 white
vinegar and 2/3 water in the water tank.
2.Connect the unit to a power outlet. Press
the steam selection button until MAX mode
is set, wait until the product has reached the
appropriate temperature and then press the
steam button until the entire amount in the
tank has been steamed. Press the steam
button again to stop the pump, switch off the
appliance, unplug it from the mains and let it
cool down for 30 minutes.
Repeat the above procedure as many times
as necessary until a normal steam flow is
obtained, usually 2 to 3 times. With each
repeated cycle, use a fresh vinegar and water
solution.
Run a distilled water cycle through the unit at
the end of descaling before using the product
again.
CLEANING
Disconnect the appliance from the mains and
allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning
task.
Clean the electrical equipment and the mains
connection with a damp cloth and dry. DO
NOT IMMERSE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER
LIQUID.
Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a
few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
Do not use solvents, or products with an
acid or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive
products, for cleaning the appliance.
Never submerge the appliance in water or any
other liquid or place it under running water.
SELF-CLEANING FUNCTION:
When using this function, prepare a container
suitable for holding water and allow the
appliance to cool down completely.
Fill the water tank (A) to the maximum level.
Place the empty container on the table, hold
the hose towards the container, but do not
press the steam holes of the ironing head (Fig.
6).
Plug the appliance into the mains, the
appliance enters standby mode.
Press the steam level selection button (H) for 5
seconds (Attention: it is not necessary to press
the power button after plugging in), then all 5
steam mode indicator lights flash at the same
time.
The self-cleaning function starts in 25 - 30
seconds.
The hose head will release a jet of steam
mixed with dirty water, and the whole process
will take about 5 minutes.
After finishing, the machine will beep 3 times
and turn off.
Unplug and clean the head and the water tank.
If you want to stop this function in the middle
of the process, just press the steam level
selection button for 5 seconds.
After stopping this function mid-process, the
machine will heat up for 2 minutes to exhaust
the water inside (during this period of time,
it is normal for steam mixed with water to
continue to come out).
