AUTOMATIC CLOSING:
The control unit can be set up to close the gate automatically without
sending any additional commands.

DIP-SWITCH 4 ON = Automatic Closing enabled (pause time 30 sec)
NOTE: A variation of the dip-switches requires pressing the RESET
button on the control unit to enable the new setting.
IMPORTANT: In STOP status (e.g.: step-by-step command, photocell in
STOP, stop due to obstacle, key switch in STOP, I/O board with STOP
input) automatic closing is not allowed. In this case, you should always
send a subsequent opening or closing command.
PEDESTRIAN OPENING:
Using both the remote control (encoded as PED) and the accessory control
devices connected to the BUS with PED function enables the pedestrian
opening on the first operator: in the case of a dual swing gate installation,
it opens completely the primary leaf (operator 1), while the second remains
closed. In the case of a sliding gate installation, the command opens the
gate by 30% of its maximum stroke.
STOP:
The control unit allows the connection of accessory control devices to the
BUS with STOP function (e.g.: step-by-step command, photocell in stop,
stop due to obstacle, key switch in STOP, I/O board with STOP input,
input 8K2). Pressing this pushbutton irrespective of the current operating
mode of the control unit will cause barrier movements to stop immediately.
A further motion control will be valid unless you have disabled the stop
command.
If an AUTO-PP command is sent (while in the automatic operating mode),
the gate will move in the opposite direction to the movement during which
the stop occurred.
PHOTOCELLS:
Digital ONE photocells can be powered by and connected to the control
unit in accordance with directive EN 12453. Setting the single photocell
RX (receiver) operation via the corresponding dip-switches in the board
(par. SETTING ACCESSORIES OPERATING MODE) the following operating
modes will be available on the board:
RX PHOTOCELL TYPE 1 "ON CLOSE":
If the photocell is engaged during closing, it runs a full inversion (opening)
of the gate.
The photocell is not activated during opening.
RX PHOTOCELL TYPE 2 "ON OPEN":
If the photocell is engaged during opening, it stops the gate until
disengagement (re-starts opening).
The photocell is not activated during closing.
RX PHOTOCELL TYPE 3 "ON OPEN+CLOSE":
If the photocell is engaged during opening, it stops the gate until
disengagement (re-starts opening).
If the photocell is engaged during closing, it runs a full inversion (opening)
cycle.
RX PHOTOCELL TYPE 4 "IN STOP":
If the photocell is engaged during opening or closing, it permanently stops
the gate (also with automatic closing enabled). The user will have to send a
subsequent command to restore operation of the automation.
OPENING AND CLOSING LIMIT SWITCHES:
The control unit allows the connection of an opening limit switch (FCA)
and a closing limit switch (FCC) of NC type. Tripping of the limit switches
in the associated operating cycles causes immediate stopping of the first
operator (Operator 1).
NOTE: The FCA and FCC limit switches act only on Operator 1 (installation
of automation with single operator).

NOTE: Do not jumper these inputs if they are not used.
OPERATOR SPEED ADJUSTMENT (SPEED):
The electronic control unit is equipped with a "SPEED" trimmer for
operator speed adjustment, completely managed by the microprocessor.
Adjustment can be performed in a range of between 10% and 100% of
maximum speed (clockwise).
NOTE: A variation of the "SPEED" trimmer requires pressing the
RESET button on the control unit to enable the new setting.

OBSTACLE DETECTION (SENS):
The electronic control unit is equipped with a "SENS" trimmer for adjustment
of the opposing force required to detect the presence of an obstacle,
completely managed by the microprocessor. Adjusting the trimmer basically
will change the obstacle sensitivity (clockwise), i.e. with minimum sensitivity,
you will have maximum force and vice-versa.
NOTE: Obstacle detection causes the brief reversal of the gate closing
manoeuvre and commands a STOP on opening.
DECELERATION (SLOWING):
The operators deceleration function is used on gates to prevent the moving
leaves from slamming at speed into the limit stops at the end of the opening
and closing phases.
Using the "SLOWING" trimmer, you can adjust the speed during the slow-
down phase. By turning the trimmer clockwise, you will increase the speed
during slow-down and vice-versa. The slow-down phases are settable:

DIP-SWITCH 3 Off = Deceleration after 80% of the maximum stroke
NOTE: A variation of the dip-switches requires pressing the RESET
button on the control unit to enable the new setting.
OPERATOR 1 AND OPERATOR 2 ENCODER:
The control unit requires connection of an Encoder for each operator. The
use of Encoders facilitates the work of the control unit in the Obstacle
Detection function and ensures enhanced precision during the execution
of gate manoeuvres .
NOTE: The control unit can only be used with Encoder having two non-
polarised wires featured on the ONE line gear operators.
Input terminals for connection with encoders with two non-polarised
encoders.
NOTE: Make sure you connect the encoders with reference to the
operators.
INDICATOR LIGHT:
The control unit allows the connection of a 24Vdc lamp for automation
status display via accessories connected to the BUS line with INDICATOR
LIGHT function (e.g.: I/O board set to INDICATOR LIGHT function – par.
