Floating output
The sensor is additionally provided with a
floating contact that can be used for any of
the following: ON / OFF light group, electronic
ballast OFF, HVAC output, Nightmatic output,
alarm or pulse output. The output can also be
deactivated to prevent any relay clicking from
being heard when the output is not being used.
The following seven functions can be set by
app via the floating output:
1� ON / OFF light group
The floating contact is used as the fourth
lighting group. The fourth button is only active
in this state. Global settings (e.g. stay-ON time)
are adopted. Settings can be customised via
Smart Remote.
2� Electronic ballast OFF
To save additional energy, the electronic
ballasts are completely switched OFF when
no light is being provided by any of the 3 light
groups.
3� HVAC output
The floating contact works as an HVAC output
and only switches in response to movement or
presence. It is possible to select any chosen
stay-ON time (1 – 120 minutes) as well as a
switch-ON delay (up to 10 minutes, room
surveillance).
Room surveillance reduces the sensitivity of the
presence switching output. The contact only
closes on detecting a pronounced movement,
signalising with a high degree of certainty that
persons are present.
4� Nightmatic
Sensor switches ON / OFF in relation to
ambient brightness.
5� Alarm
The output only switches for approx. 2.5 sec-
onds when at least 3 movements have been
detected within a time period of 9 seconds.
6� Pulse mode
Here, the floating contact is used as a pulse
output (2 seconds ON, 8 seconds OFF).
7� OFF
Switches relay clicking OFF.

8� Operation / maintenance
The product requires no maintenance.
The infrared sensor can be used for switching
light ON and OFF automatically. The unit is not
suitable for burglar alarm systems as it is not
tamperproof in the manner prescribed for such
systems. The detector lens may be cleaned
with a damp cloth if it gets dirty (do not use
cleaning agents).
