IR distance
Also called IR flash distance, it is the distance at which a trail camera
can illuminate an object with the IR LEDs.
Auto: It will automatically adjust the brightness of the infrared light.
When working at night, the camera's image sensor will adjust the
brightness of the IR light according to the brightness of the object.
When an animal or a person is very close to the camera, the camera
will automatically dim the brightness of the IR light, and only shoot the
animals and surrounding objects at a close distance, but not the farther
environment. When an animal or a person is far away from the camera,
the camera will automatically increase the brightness of the infrared
light.
Near, Middle, Far: These are to manually set the distance at which a
trail camera can illuminate an object with the IR LEDs. For example,
you set the IR distance to near, then the IR light will dim and only
illuminate the area that is relatively close to the camera.
Notice: The farther the IR light illuminates, the brighter it is, and
the more power it consumes. Please choose it according to your
needs.
