Before using Scafor
needs to be installed on its bracket provided for this
purpose.
5.3.1. Installation of the Scafor
the Scafor
1. Position the Scafor
positioning pin of the Scafor
(see page 3 fig 4.c).
2. Position the anchor clip of the Scafor
opposite the hole in the anchor point of the Scafor
bracket (see page 3 fig. 4.C).
3. Insert the screw (J) supplied with the bracket into
the hole in the anchor point of the Scafor
hoist (see page 3 fig. 4.C).
4. Position the washer on the screw (K) then tighten
the locknut firmly (see page 3 fig. 4.C).
5.3.2. Installation of the Scafor
bracket on the mast of the Davitrac™+ or
Davitrac™
1. The Scafor
Davitrac™ bracket is placed outside

the mast on the two anchor holes at the top (A) of
the Davitrac™ mast (see page 3 fig 4b).
2. Position the holes in the bracket inline with the mast
holes (fig. 5).
3. Insert the pins attached to the bracket into the holes
(see page 5 fig 5c, item R).
4. Lock the pins with the safety pins (see page 5 fig
5c, item S).
5. Take the cable out of the winch to pass it over the
right pulley guide ((A1) on the back of the mast fig.
(3A) or (3C).
6. Remove the anti-jump cable pin (D1) and position
the cable.

7. Insert the anti-jump cable pin and lock the pin with
the safety pins (see page 3 fig. 3B or 3C).

2. Remove the cable from the pulleys (see page 3

recovery mechanism by pushing the lock button and
then operate the crank.
The self-retracting fall-arrest system Blocfor
(140 kg), one person is equipped with two handles to
facilitate its handling and use in rescue by lifting by
holding the equipment handle with one hand and the
crank handle with the other.
