To realize the full potential of this deck and
to understand all its facilities, it is important
to read the whole manual thoroughly. How-
ever, if you want to use your new deck right
away, follow the simple list below, checking
off the boxes with a pencil as each step is
completed.
1.ls your deck set for the AC line voltage
used in your area? See the label on the
back panel or carton. If in doubt, check
with the dealer.
2.Make sure the POWER switch @ is off.
3.Plug the power cord into an AC outlet.
4.Using an appropriate pin cord, connect
the Right) and L(eft) OUTPUT ter-
minals to the tape input terminals of
your amplifier. Refer to the amplifier's
owner's manual.
5.Set the amplifier controls appropriately
for a tape input. Refer to the amplifiers
owner's manual.
6.Set the switches and controls on the
front panel of the deck as follows:

7.Qpen the cassette holder by pressing the
EJECT button @.
8.Insert a prerecorded cassette with the
exposed
tape opening downwards and
the "side" you want to hear facing out-
wards.

9.Push the cassette holder door closed. {0k}
10.Press the POWER switch @ on.
11.Set the tape in foward motion by press-
ing the PLAY button. The cassette hubs
should
start
turning,
and
the
tape
counter should begin counting upwards.
12.When you want to stop the tape, press
the STOP button.

Pour connaitre

dispositifs, il importe de lire soigneusement
ce manuel. Cependant, si vous voulez com-
mencer
a vous
servir de votre
nouvelle
platine-cassette
tout de suite, suivez {'é-
numeration ci-dessous, en cochant chaque
case au fur et d mesure des vérifications.
1. Est-ce
que
votre
platine-cassette
est
réglée pour la tension secteur de votre
région? Regardez I'étiquette figurant a
l'arriére de l'appareil 'ou sur son em-
ballage. Si vous avez un doute, consultez
votre revendeur.
2. Assurez-vous que |'interrupteur d'alimen-
tation (POWER) @ est coupé.
3.Branchez le cordon d'alimentation a une
prise secteur.
4.Au moyen du cable a broches propre,
raccordez les sorties (OUTPUT) droite
(R) et gauche (L) aux entrées magné-
tophone (Tape Input) de votre amplifi-
cateur. Reportez-vous au mode d'emploi
de celui-ci.
5.Réglez les boutons de votre amplifica-
teur pour l'écoute d'un magnétophone;
voyez le mode d'emploi de !'amplifica-
teur.
6.Réglez
les commandes
de fa facade
avant de la platine comme suit:

7.Ouvrez
le compartiment
a cassette en

8.Introduisez une cassette préenregistrée
avec le couloir vers le bas et la face que
vous voulez écouter vers vous.
§.Poussez sur la trappe de cassette pour la
fermer.
10.Enfoncez
l'interrupteur
d'alimentation
(POWER) @.
11. Faites défiler la bande en pressant sur la
touche
PLAY.
Les
axes
de cassette
doivent se mettre a tourner et le comp-
teur commence a compter.
12.Quand
vous voulez arréter la cassette,
pressez sur la touche STOP.
