Adjust the Water Temperature
WARNING: Risk of personal injury. Do not allow the water to
boil. Boiling water may result in severe burns.
NOTE: Your dispenser temperature is preset at the factory. However,
you may want to raise or lower the water temperature.
Unplug the unit. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the access
cover of the tank.
NOTE: Adjust the thermostat in small increments, 1/2 dial mark,
either up or down.
Insert a small screwdriver in the slot of the thermostat adjustment
screw. Turn clockwise to increase and counterclockwise to
decrease the water temperature.
Reinstall the access cover and reconnect the electric power.
Run the water to drain two to three cups from the tank then
allow the unit to reheat.
Repeat the process until the desired temperature is reached. Do
not allow the water to boil.
Troubleshooting
NOTE: The dispenser sounds like a coffee percolator just before the
electric thermostat shuts it off. The rumble is caused by gases being
driven off by the boiling water. This is normal and is part of the
proper operation of the unit.
