REMOTE CONTROL UNIT
In addition to use with this unit, the remote control unit can
also be used to operate other Pioneer components bearing
the
Gal mark.
@ POWER key
This unit can also be used to turn the amplifier on or standby
(the indicator lights).
@ MUTING key

@ CD DIRECT and DAT DIRECT key
(5 DAT key
When this key is pressed, the amplifier is set to DAT input.
@ GEO ON/OFF key:
When using the optional graphic equalizer GR-X540 this
switch selects whether the input signals pass through the
equalizer circuits or bypass the circuits.
(7) GEO keys
P/PGM key:
For recalling the equalization curves preset or PGM in the
equalizer.
CALL key:
When using P (Preset) mode the pre-programmed 5-mode
memories
can
be
called.
In
PGM
mode
the
user-
programmable 5-mode memories can be called.

'<1 (Play): Press for reverse direction playback.
(The amplifier switches to TAPE input.)
00 (Pause):
Press

PP: Winds the tape quickly from left to right.
"44: Winds the tape quickly from right to left.
(_]{Stop): Stops tape travel.
NOTE:
The CT-X340W CASSETTE TAPE DECK cannot be operated with
this unit.

BAND:
This key is used to select the band of the desired
station. The bands change alternately each time the
switch is pressed.
