Most minor problems can be resolved quickly and easily using the table below.
If problems persist, contact a Hitachi authorized service center for assistance.
PROBLEM
The pin nailer won't fi re
nails.
Nails are not fully driven in. The material is too hard.
Blank fi ring.
Prevent a jam.
Promote operator safety and effi cient

POSSIBLE CAUSE
The battery has run out of power. (The
remaining battery indicator lamp does
not light.)
The battery has not been attached
correctly.
Nailer is overloaded.
Battery or main unit is overheated.
Power tool abnormalities.
The nailer is recoiling.
The driver blade is worn down.
The anti-blank fi ring mechanism is not
working.
Jammed nails remain around the
discharge outlet.

WHY

Recharge the battery with the recharger.
Remove the battery and check to see if foreign
matter exists in the nailer's battery insertion
bed. Also check to make sure that the battery
terminals are not soiled. Press down on the
battery until it clicks into place.

have collected around the blade guide and

Allow the battery and main unit to fully cool
down.
