Press VOLUME.
The volume level is displayed as a number from O to MAX
(31).
The volume level is automatically
set to 20 when the power
is turned off when the volume level is set to 21 or more.
The T-BASS system enhances the realism of low-frequency
sound.
Press T-BASS.

Each time it is pressed, the level changes.
Select one of the
three levels, or the off position to suit your preference.
Low frequency sound may be distorted when the T-BASS
system is used for a disc in which low frequency sound is
originally emphasized.
In this case, cancel the T-BASS
system.
The QSOUND system provides rich, three dimensional
sound.
Press QSOUND.
To cancel the QSOUND system
Press QSOUND again.

At higher volumes, turning QSOUND on may cause sound
distortion.
In this case, turn the volume down.
This unit provides the following three different equalization
cu[rves.
EQ ROCK: Powerful sound emphasizing
treble and bass
EC) POP: More presence in the vocals and midrange
EQ JAZZ: Accented lower frequencies
for jazz-type music
Press GEQ repeatedly.
The GEQ mode is displayed cyclically.

Using the headphones
Connect headphones
with a stereo mini plug (a 3.5 mm, 1/8
inch) to PHONES jack on the rear of the unit.
No sound is output from the speakers while the headphones
ar~! plugged in.
