2. Assembly and installation

Unpacking
➢
Check the integrity of the unit after unpacking.
•
The box includes

OV625 Digital disperser (A)
➢
Tool disassembly kit
➢
Instruction manual
➢
Allen key and allen head screw
➢
Support shaft
•
Installation
➢
Place the Mini H stand (C) (accessory) on a surface as described on safety regulations
➢
Fix the support shaft to the instrument with the allen head screw
➢
Firmly fix the instrument to the Mini H stand (C)
➢
Secure the receptacle with the sample using the fixing clamp (D) supplied to the Mini H stand.
➢
Slide the dispersing tool (accessory) into the head of the disperser up to the stop and tight it with the knob (B)
➢
Place the dispersing tool into the sample as indicated in Chapter 5
➢
Make sure that the rating value of the instrument corresponds to the one of the power supply
➢
Ensure that the socket provided, with grounding, is compliant with the current safety norms and easy to reach.
IMPORTANT NOTE
➢
Check that the support shaft is firmly seated. The vibrations may loosen the allen head screw, for safety reasons, be
sure to tighten it periodically.
➢
Check that the disperser is securely mounted in position before use and at regular periods. The position of disperser
can only be changed if the instrument is turned off and disconnected from the power supply
3. Operation

Power-up
➢
Turn the instrument on through the main switch (E)
➢
The display (G) shows the software version, the last setpoint value and
•
Dispersing
➢
Turn the speed control knob (F) to set the speed and start the dispersing process
➢
Speed increases until set point achievement
➢
A microprocessor ensures constant speed even when the viscosity changes (SpeedServo)
➢
Stop the process by turning the control knob to 0 (F)
