IMPORTANT: Some of the following symbols may be used on the tool. Please study them
and learn their meaning. Correct interpretation of these symbols will enable you to make more
effective and safer use of the tool.

Read the instructions:
The instructions contain special messages to draw attention to safety issues or
possible damage to the tool, as well as useful information about the operation
and maintenance of the tool. We would suggest reading all the information
carefully to avoid personal injury and damage to the tool.
Wear head, eye and ear protection:
Head, eye and ear protection must be worn to avoid serious injury.
Wear hand protection:
Hand protection must be worn. It is advisable to use non-slip gloves for better
control of the tool.
Wear foot protection:
It is necessary to use foot protection; it is advisable to use non-slip work boots.
Hazard:
Indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in
death or serious injury.
Prohibited for use during thunderstorms or rain:
It is necessary to avoid using the tool in rain and thunderstorm conditions, as
there is a risk of electric shock.
Alert or security:
Indicates danger, warning or caution. It means WARNING! Your safety is at
stake.
Electric shock:
Indicates that there are parts of the tool which conduct electrical currents to
enable the operation of the tool, and that these parts must never be touched
while the tool is in use.
Volatile objects:
Any power tool in operation can cause objects to fly out; it is therefore advis-
able to use the tool in places where there are few people and to allow for large
separation distances if there are more people in the working area.
