SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS
General safety warnings for power tools.
WARNING! Read all warnings and safety instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and
instructions below may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
Keep all warnings and instructions for future reference. The term "ELECTRIC TOOL": A mo-
tor-operated tool with magnetic operation, which is intended to perform mechanical work.
1. Safety of the work area
Keep the work area clean and well lit. Clutter or poor lighting in work areas can lead to
accidents.
Do not use power, impact or abrasive tools in an explosive environment where liquid fuels,
gases or powdery materials are present. Power, impact or abrasive tools produce sparks
that can ignite powdered materials or vapours.
Keep children and others away from the work area when using the power tool. A distraction
may cause you to lose control over the tool.
2. Electrical safety (charger and tool)
The charger's plug must be appropriate for the socket being used. It is not permissible to
modify the plug in any way. Do not use adapters on power tools equipped with an earthed
socket. Unmodified plugs must be suitable for the respective sockets — this reduces the
risk of electric shock.
Prevent your body from touching grounded parts such as pipes. The risk of exposure to an
electrical discharge is greater if your body is in contact with the ground.
Do not expose power tools to rain and avoid getting liquids inside them. There is a danger
of electric shock if certain liquids enter the tool.
Treat the electrical cable with care. Do not use the power cord to carry or hang up the pow-
er tool (charger), or pull it to remove the plug from the socket. Keep the power cord away
from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled electrical cables can
cause an electric shock.
When working with the power tool (charger) outdoors, use only extension cords that are
approved for outdoor use. The use of an extension cord suitable for outdoor use reduces
the risk of electric shock.
If use of the tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a power supply protected by a
residual current device (RCD). The use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This product must not be exposed to dripping from liquid splashes.
3. Personal safety
Be attentive to the work and use the power tool with caution. Do not use the power tool if you
are tired, or after consuming alcohol, drugs or medication. Inattention while operating a power
tool can result in serious injury.
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye, respiratory and hearing protection.
Protective equipment, such as a dust mask, safety shoes with non-slip soles, hard hats or
hearing protectors, used under appropriate conditions, help to reduce personal injuries.
Avoid unintentional start-up. Make sure that the switch is in the Off position before connecting
the tool to the power source, or picking up or carrying the tool. If
