It is recommended that at least 3 charging and discharging cycles are performed before
using the tool for the first time
BEFORE USING THE ROTARY HAMMER, RECHARGE THE BATTERY AS INSTRUCTED
1. Plug the charger plug into a 120 V~ outlet, and insert the battery into the charger.
2. When the battery is fully charged, disconnect the charger from the mains.
PRECAUTION:
•
The battery charger is designed exclusively for charging the battery pack. Never use it for
other purposes or to charge other types of batteries of higher or lower capacity.
•
When recharging new batteries, or ones that have not been used for an extended period,
they may not fully charge unless they are fully discharged and recharged a couple of times.
•
If you want to recharge a battery that has just been used in the tool, or has been exposed to
direct sunlight or excessive heat, wait a moment and recharge it when it is cool.
MAINTENANCE
Always ensure that the tool is switched off with the battery pack removed before attempting
or performing inspection or maintenance. To maintain the safety and reliability of this product,
repairs or other maintenance or adjustment procedures must be carried out by an authorised
Service Centre and by qualified personnel, using original and suitable spare parts.
Do not dispose electric products in the household waste. According to the European
standard 2012/19/EU for the disposing of electrical equipment (WEEE), it should be taken
to your local waste collection station for recycling.
