CHANGE FROM ROTARY HAMMER TO DRILL
•
To drill concrete, tiled stone or similar hard materials, turn the torque adjuster to the IM-
PACT position (coinciding with the top mark). The drill bit will impact the material, rotating at
the same time. Use tungsten carbide drills.
•
To drill through metal, wood or plastic, turn the torque adjuster to the DRILL position (coin-
ciding with the top mark), so that the drill bit rotates over the material.
AWARNING! Do not attempt to drill through metal, wood or plastic with the torque adjuster
in the IMPACT mode. Otherwise, it will reduce the efficiency of the tool and damage the tip of
the drill bit
DRILLING IN WOOD
When drilling in wood, you will get better results with a rotary hammer for wood equipped with a
screw guide. The screw guide makes drilling easier by pushing the drill bit into the workpiece.
