SETUP AND OPERATION

Important notes on use of the cooker hood
• The grease fi lter must always be in place when the extractor hood is started
up, otherwise grease vapours can accumulate inside the extractor hood.
• Do not use an open fi re under the extractor hood. High fl ames can damage
the cooker hood or even cause a fi re due to grease deposits in the grease
fi lter.
• If you are using a gas cooker, make sure that the cooking zones are not
operated without cookware. With an open gas fl ame, parts of the device can
be damaged by the rising heat.
• Because of the fi re hazard, frying or cooking with oils and fats under the hood
may only be done under constant supervision.
CAUTION
Fire hazard!: The risk of self-ignition increases with oils or fats that
have already been used several times.
CAUTION
Burn risk! Accessible parts of the appliance can become hot when
using the cooking device.
