2. BEFORE USE
• Take the product out of the box and remove all packaging materials, stickers, etc.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If any visible
signs of damage are observed, contact Cecotec's Technical Support Service immediately.
First cleaning
• Fill up the water tank. The water level should not exceed the "MAX" mark in the tank.
• Insert the filter in the funnel and assemble the portafilter into place. Ensure the
portafilter is aligned with the lock drawing to make sure it is safely assembled. Fig. 2.
• Plug the device into a power supply. Make sure the steam selector is in the off position.
The machine will beep. The 1-coffee and 2-coffee light indicators will turn on and the
machine will start pre-heating.
• Once the 1-coffee and 2-coffee light indicators remain steady, press the 1-coffee button.
The machine will start the cleaning process.
