► Switch off the brushcutter and remove the bat‐
tery.
► Use the carrying ring to hook the brushcutter
into the carabiner of the carrying system.

► Loosen the wing screw (1).
► Tilt the bike handle (2) to the required position.
► Tilt the bike handle (2) so that the distance (a)
does not fall below 750 mm.
► Tighten the wing screw (1) securely.
9.3
Balancing the brushcutter
The battery and cutting attachment affect the bal‐
ance of the brushcutter. The brushcutter must be
balanced with the attached cutting attachment
and the inserted battery.
The brushcutter must be balanced differently
depending on the cutting attachment used.
If a mowing head is mounted:
The mowing head must just touch the ground.
If a metal cutting attachment is mounted:
The metal cutting attachment must be at a height
of about 20 cm above the ground.

10 Removing and Fitting the Battery
► Shut off the engine.

► Hook the perforated strip (2) into the carabi‐
ner (1).
► Wait for brushcutter to stop swinging.
► If the position of the cutting attachment must
be adjusted after swinging: Hook the carabi‐
ner (1) into another hole in the perforated
strip (2) and let it swing again.
10 Removing and Fitting the
Battery
10.1
Inserting the Battery
► Insert the battery (1) up to the limit stop into
the battery compartment (2).
The battery (1) engages with a click and is
now locked.
10.2
Removing the Battery
► Set the brushcutter on a level surface.
► Press both locking levers (1).
The battery (2) is released and can be
removed.
