j)Check the towing rope and connectors for frays, cuts, sharp
edges, knots between the fixing fittings, or wear before each
use. Discard rope if any such condition exists or if rope appears
to be excessively worn. Such conditions may lead to rope breaks
and personal injury.
k) Use only ropes designed for towables.
I) Do not use tow lines with elastic components (bungee ropes).
In case of rupture or release under load (quick release
mechanism) such ropes result to a whiplash effect and may hurt
the users (rider) and boat occupants.
m) The observer has to advise other watercrafts with a towing
streamer/flag that towing is occurring and has to agree with the
users (riders) hand signals for communication under each other.
The communication signals are covered in this manual
separately.
n) The watercraft driver has overall responsibility for the safe
operation and use of the towable.
Preparation
Please do not drag the towable across the ground, otherwise the
shell may be damaged. If you ascent or climb in, the device
should have no contact with the ground or the bottom of the
water. In a tube without air floor, you should not stand up or
bounce. The drainage device can tear otherwise.
Wakeboard towers and tow points
Wakeboard towers are not designed for pulling towables. Use
only lifting eyes for towing tubes with 2 or more riders. Do not
tow inflatables from ski pylons or ski eyes unless recommended
by the boat manufacturer. Tow pylons and ski eyes installed
aftermarket are not intended for towing inflatables. We assume
no liability for injuries or damages resulting from not following
these instructions.

Towing attachment
Use a tow rope of at least 2375 lbs (1078 kg) average tensile
strength for pulling two people. The tow rope should be at least
50 feet (15 m) in length, but not exceed 65 feet (20m).
Towables with quick connect attachment
Connect the towable with the tow rope to the quick-connect
device by plugging the eyelet from the end of the tow rope
through the eyelet of the plastic hook (1), place it over the two
prongs of the hook (2) and then tighten the rope firmly(3). The
figure is for reference only.
1
Towables with tow strap attachment.
Attach the towable with the tow rope on the tow strap device by
plugging the eyelet from one end of the tow rope through the
belt loop of the tow strap (1) and then move the other end of the
rope through this eyelet(2) and pull until the rope is tightened
(3). The figure is for reference only.
1
Usage of a quick release system (available as an option)
Towables or their pertinent towing ropes should be optionally
equipped with a quick release system. A quick release system
means to release the towable from the tow rope manually or
automatically in case of an emergency by triggering a release
mechanism. The release mechanism should be in reach of the
rider/observer/boat driver. At towables of category C1, the
application of a quick release system for single rider is obligatory.
